Your work shows a lot of potential. Don't get too wrapped up in the anime and cartooning stuff though. Remember that cartoons are an ABSTRACTION from reality....so it helps to have a firm foundation in realism before you try bending and exaggerating it. I am not saying to stop the comic stuff though. I am just saying that if you train yourself a little more classically you will be able to better understand how to do the cartoon work.

I personally don't feel that my work has as much of a cartoonish influence as it used to. I was heavy into doing anime (like most of my friends were) in middle school, and that undoubtedly has had an effect on my art, but I like to think I've moved away from that recently. I've always considered myself strong in realism, actually. Being able to be a cartoonist isn't tops on my list of priorities.
